SYNOPSIS
The Tap Cats are determined to win the 2013 Senior Superstar Competition, or at least Carol is. Her primary school friend, Sofia, is less committed and sparks fly when their childhood friend Bonnie returns from New York with a secret. Lies, betrayals and challenges rock their relationships and the success of the Tap Cats. As the competition looms, will tap dancing rebuild their broken friendship and help them rediscover themselves?

CAROL, SOFIA, BONNIE mid-50s, friends and tap dancers
VALERIE In her 60s. Teaches seniors tap dancing
MAUDE In her mid 70s, tap dancer
ALICE Oldest tap dancer 80ish
KATHARINE In her 40s. Bonnie’s secret daughter. Tap dancing teacher
MELISSA 19-20 year old
ROB Late 50s. Sofia’s husband
DAVE Late 50s. Carol’s husband
GEORGE Maude’s husband
ANDREW DUMAS Early 60s, Minister for Arts and Aging. Ex-high school teacher.

SKILLS SOUGHT
Acting and/dancing experience desirable. Willingness to learn and have fun essential.
TIMING
Auditions: Thurs 30 Jan at 7.30pm and Sunday 2 February at 2pm
Rehearsals: From 13 February on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons
Performances:
24 April (Preview/dress rehearsal)
26 April (opening night)
27 April (afternoon show – 4pm)
2 and 3 May (evening shows – 7.30pm)
